Hearts Bluff Acquires Interest in the Dennis Lambert and Brian Potter Catalogs! Share Thisi

The Hearts Bluff catalog keeps getting more and more diverse, and the acquisition of the Lambert and Potter catalogs couldn’t be a more perfect fit! Dennis Lambert and Brian Potter were one of the most versatile teams in the music industry in the ’70s. As songwriters, producers, and musicians, their work is found on hits that span genres from soulful Motown to Country classics.

Lambert and Potter met in the late ’60s and began an 11-year working collaboration, during which they wrote classics like The Four Tops’ “Ain’t No Woman (Like The One I Got),” Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds’ “Don’t Pull Your Love,” which later went to #1 when it was re-cut by Glen Campbell, Tavares’ “It Only Takes A Minute,” and The Original Caste’s “One Tin Soldier.”

Lambert’s catalog also features his post-Potter-collaboration hits, which include The Commodore’s “Nightshift,” and Starship’s Grammy-winning, Billboard Hot 100 #1, “We Built This City.”

We’re thrilled to add these songs to our growing catalog!
