Aaron Barker To Be Inducted into Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Share Thisi
On Tuesday, August 8, hit songwriter Pat Alger spoke as Chairman of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame to announce their Class of 2016 at a private press conference inside Columbia’s Studio A on Music Row. Among the 4 writers bestowed with the distinguished honor this year is Aaron Barker, whose catalog is an important piece of the Hearts Bluff portfolio. Barker’s success includes George Strait chart-toppers, “Baby Blue,” “Love Without End, Amen,” and “Easy Come, Easy Go,” as well as Lonestar’s #1 “What About Now,” and Top 5 singles for Clay Walker, and Doug Supernaw.
Also in the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Class of 2016 are Beth Nielsen-Chapman, Bob Morrison, and the late Townes Van Zandt. The induction ceremony will take place on October 9, 2016 in Nashville.
